Lovecraftian Thing a Day No.343: Drowning Rock Programme
Drowning Rock was a production - funded via Kickstarter, if I remember correctly - which played a few years back at a small theatre not far from Conway Hall in London. I recall it being a rather folktale-styled spin on the themes of The Shadow Over Innsmouth and, whilst not quite as enjoyable as the staging of The Dunwich Horror I mentioned a few days ago, it was nonetheless quite a solid piece which managed to effectively evoke a sense of quiet, claustrophobic dread. Sadly, I haven't heard anything else sbout it since its initial (and very short) run.
