The plans for ths disused block of apartments are said to have been conceived by Isaiah Boreham (one of the older scions of the Boreham family). A student of alchemy, Isaiah Boreham apparently incorporated esoteric geometries into the building’s design; fortunately, there are few alive today equipped with the means or knowledge to unravel the alchemical formulae lurking within its architectural cryptography - formulae which (or so it is rumoured) possess the power to effect certain monstrous and primordial transmutations of both the flesh and the soul.
